Flush Collection makes some of the most mental skate decks you’ll come across. Most notably, the ones pressed with quilted maple, which you can see in the photo above.
Whitetail Skateboards
Whitetail Skateboards was started by Sophia, a lifelong skater and artist based in Canada. She’s been leading the way in the surfskate space for innovative shapes that are aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Whitetail also makes longboards and street setups.
Deviate Board Co
Deviate Board Co, founded by James Petitto in Brooklyn, NY, specializes in handcrafted longboards. James grew up making things from various materials and spent over 20 years in corporate finance before pursuing his passion full-time. You can even order a custom board, which is exactly what I did for my 60s cruiser setup.
Lander La
Lander La stands out with its distinctive cruiser decks crafted from recycled fishing nets. Emphasizing sustainability, they combine eco-friendliness with practical, functional designs. You can see some experimenting I’ve done with my Lander in this post.

Vibe Ride is a longboard brake that helps beginners feel more comfortable getting on a longboard. One of the main things that prevents people from stepping on a board is their fear of stopping. While there’s been some pushback from the “core” industry because of some gimmicky marketing, I believe it’s a net positive. Simply because it gets more people on a board.
